How to connect my Linkedin Account using Chrome Extension


STEP 1: Linkedin Account

Head over to the Linkedin Account section, by clicking on the Linkedin icon on the left-hand side.


STEP 2: Connect Account

Click on the Connect Account button on the top-right hand side of the Linkedin Accounts screen.


STEP 3: Chrome Extension

Click on the "Add using Extension" button on the bottom of the right-hand panel.

Wait 3 seconds: The panel will open a new tab, which will be the Profile manager extension, which you will need to install.

STEP 4: Setting-up the Chrome Extension

On the Chrome Extension page, click on "Add to Chrome" to install the extension

Open the Extensions menu on Chrome

Click on the "Pin" button to pin the Extension on your chrome menu
This makes it easily accessible for the future


STEP 5: Add Your Linkedin Account to Leadplay

Open the Extension that you just pinned

Click on the "Connect" button
After clicking this button, it should say "Connected"

You can now Repeat Button reload / refresh the Linkedin Accounts page, to see the connected Linkedin Account.


Using Your Own Proxy

If you have your own custom or dedicated proxy and you want to use this before connecting your account, you can configure this in the extension, before clicking "connect"

If you click on the "Configure custom proxy" button

On this screen you can:
  • Configure your custom proxy settings, then click "Save",
Then click "Connect" to connect your account to Leadplay using your own proxy.
