These actions can be combined to create effective outreach sequences that feel natural while maximizing your chances of getting replies.

Requests

Requests are the starting point of most campaigns. You can choose between:
Connection Request Send a personalized invite to connect
InMail Request Send a LinkedIn InMail (available if you have Sales Navigator)


Follow-Ups

Follow-ups keep the conversation moving after your initial request. You can send:
Connection Follow-Ups Once a prospect accepts your connection, automatically send a follow-up message
InMail Follow-Ups After sending an InMail, you can follow up to keep the thread alive.
Follow-ups help ensure you don’t lose momentum once a prospect is in your network or has received your first outreach.
Follow-ups are sent to propsects who haven't responded. Once they respond, the sequence ends


Smart Engagement

Smart Engagement allows you to interact naturally with prospects while waiting for them to respond.
  • The system will automatically like posts, endorse skills, and view profiles of your prospects.
  • Engagement continues until a prospect either accepts your connection request (default) or replies to a message.
This feature helps warm up relationships by showing genuine activity and interest, making your outreach feel less robotic and more human.
