Most common Campaign setup mistakes

1️⃣ Keep hitting "Weekly connection limit reached"

Consistently hitting the weekly connection limit can decrease your overall monthly sending volume.
To Resolve this, make sure your account is set to send under 700 connection request per/month.
There's 2 main ways to control and accomplish this. Daily Connection Limit and the campaign scheduled days.

Part 1: Daily Connections Limit

You can find this by clicking on the "Settings" option on the right-hand side of your Linkedin Account

PART 2: Campaign Schedules

You can find this by going to the "Campaign Settings" tab.
The campaign schedule is on the bottom-right marked as:
M - T - W - T - F - S - S
Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday - Sunday
You can use this Chart below to set your daily connection limit, based on the campaign schedule you've enabled

4 Days Enabled

If 4 days or less is enabled for ALL of your campaigns. Set your daily connection limit as 40

5 Days Enabled (default)

If 5 days or less is enabled for ANY of your campaigns. Set your daily connection limit as 35

6 Days Enabled

If 6 days or less is enabled for ANY of your campaigns. Set your daily connection limit as 29

7 Days Enabled

If 7 days or less is enabled for ANY of your campaigns. Set your daily connection limit as 25
Your overall campaign schedule combines all active campaigns.
For example: if one runs Monday–Friday (5 days) and another runs Saturday–Sunday (2 days), that counts as 7 days enabled.

2️⃣ Not having Linkedin Premium

Linkedin has a host of restrictiction which impacts:
  •  1️⃣ Weekly Connection Limit Reached
  • Maximum limit of personalised connection requests
  • Personalized connection request character limit
  • Limited members visibility
  • Limited search results
To avoid all of this, its recommend to have ANY Linkedin Premium subscription, before adding an account to a campaign
Pro Tip: Linkedin Premium subscription ain't required after the first 2 months, once the account is warmed-up, by sending consistent daily connection requests.

3️⃣ Forgetting To add Fallback Message

Connect Request & Request Accepted sections both have: Message & Fallback Message
If you've added a Message, don't forget to also add a Fallback Message or else changes made to the campaign WON'T be saved.
Review your Fallback Message and remove placeholder templates such as:
{firstname} {lastname} {countrycode} {location} {companyname} {schoolname} {skill}

4️⃣ Not utilizing A/B tests

The difference between 0 and 1, between a novice and an expert, is A/B testing.
For every campaign, we recommend creating at least 3 different messages by clicking on the "Sparkles Add Variation" button.
The process for success
1️⃣ Create 3 A/B tests
2️⃣ Test for 7 days
3️⃣ Delete worst performing messages
Repeat Button Add new Tests
By repeating this full process every week, you'll statistically work towards the most converting campaign.
Pro Tip: Adding A/B tests for each follow-up is a power move.
