How do I use People Explorer to filter prospects?

The People Explorer is a powerful tool that lets you go beyond numbers and actually see the people behind your analytics
It puts faces to the data and helps you uncover exactly who is engaging, how, and when.

Campaign-Level Filters

At the top of the People Explorer, you can refine results using campaign-level filters:
  • Accounts – Select the LinkedIn accounts you want to see events from.
  • Campaigns – Narrow results to a specific campaign.
  • Date Range – Choose a date range to focus on a particular timeframe.

Event-Level Filters

Below the campaign filters, you’ll find event filters. These let you drill down into specific actions prospects have taken:
  • Interested – Prospects who replied positively.
  • User Replied – Any reply, regardless of sentiment.
  • Connection Sent – A connection request was sent.
  • Connection Accepted – A connection request was accepted.
  • InMail Sent – An InMail was sent.
  • Message – A message was sent.
  • Engagement – Any engagement activity.
  • Connection Not Replied – No response to a connection message.
  • InMail Not Replied – No response to an InMail.
  • Connection Not Accepted – Connection request not accepted.
  • User Skipped – Skipped prospects.
  • Withdrawal – Old connection requests withdrawn.

Combining Filters for Granular Insights

You can combine campaign filters and event filters to zoom in on exactly the data you want. For example:
  • See only prospects who showed interest in a specific campaign during the past week.
  • Find all unreplied InMails from a particular account in a given month.
This level of filtering gives you granular, actionable insights that go far beyond topline analytics.

Building New Prospect Lists

After applying filters, click Build Prospects to instantly generate a new prospect list based on the selected criteria.
This makes it easy to take filtered insights and turn them into targeted outreach lists.
Pro Tip: Use People Explorer to identify high-intent segments (e.g., “Interested” + specific campaign) and build a dedicated follow-up list.
